My luck is in as the best conditions of the week co-incided with my afternoon off work. An absolutely bonkers windy session, just a tad on the too windy side of proper enjoyable, but great fun nevertheless. 4.5 with the crap downhauled out of it was generally fine but really I should have been on the 4.0. Most of the session was just manic chop-bothering with the occasional big mumma jump but after the tide turned the waves began to shape up and some half-decent dtl became available. I really started to go for it and was probably the best frontside riding I've had on the south coast, not necessarily saying much, but on a couple of waves it was indeed proper multiple bottom-turn-tastic. And all illuminated by summer-esque sunshine practically throughout the whole session (it really does not feel like february out there). A solid 4 stars. :)
